What is the interior height of the Outdoor Kitty House?
The interior height is 15” at its highest point.

What temperature will an outdoor heated bed or pad reach?
K&H outdoor beds and pads are designed to warm to your pet's normal body temperature of 102°F when he/she lies on the bed or pad. When your pet is not on the bed or pad, the heat will dissipate into the air and the surface temperature will vary according to the ambient air temperature.

How long is the cord?
The cord is 5.5 feet long.

Can I use an extension cord with this product?
MET requires that all manufacturers put the extension cord statement “Do not use with extension cord” on every item that is MET listed by UL 499 standards. This is because they cannot test every extension cord on the market in conjunction with our products for safety. Also, MET suggests that an extension cord is not recommended as a permanent fixture and should only be a temporary solution when using any electrical product. How long can a heated bed or pad be plugged in?
MET Safety Laboratories suggests unplugging the bed if you leave your home on an extended vacation, as they do with any electrical appliance. Otherwise, it is designed for 24/7 operation and you can leave it plugged in all day. This item has been certified by MET labs to adhere to strict electrical safety standards. Is there an off/on switch?
There is not an off/on switch. The pad is always on when plugged in.

What size are the door openings?
The door openings are 6" wide by 8" high

How many adult cats fit inside?
This will depend on the size of your cats. The sleeping surface area for this product is 14" x 18". For multiple cats, we recommend our Outdoor Multi-Kitty A-Frame, which has a sleeping surface of 19" x 24".

How do the door flaps attach?
The door flaps adhere to the inside of the frame with hook & loop material. Cats can push their way through the door flaps easily since they're not heavy.

What are the walls made of?
The walls are made of 600 denier nylon with a vinyl backing that makes them waterproof and capable of withstanding snow.
