It uses an internal thermostat to keep the temperature at a desirable 102 when the pet lies upon the heated pad; and will remain 10-15 degrees above ambient air temperature when your pet is not on the bed. Soft PVC protects from water and a free removable, washable cover is included for easy care. The K&H Lectro-Soft Outdoor Heated Dog and Cat Beds are recommended for Indoor or outdoor use.
